Olivia never made a peep all day. She just cooed and smiled at everyone fawning over her. And fawn over her they did. But how could you not, with those CHEEKS and big sweet eyes. The few pictures I got of her and her grandmother are some of my favorites that I have ever taken. (tears every time) The reception was held at Pine Lakes, and everything was perfect. The details, the food, the COOKIES!!! Then the dancing started and was still going when I left. 

Ava and I met at a friends wedding last winter and I knew that I had to be part of her big day. We talked over coffee and just seeing how here face lights up when she talks about Chris makes my heart all fluttery. The big day was FULL of family and the greatest friends that a couple could have asked for. Wachesaw Plantation is the perfect venue for the southern plantation wedding Ava had in mind. Carolina Charm Florist did and amazing job on the bouquets and all of the blush details of the day. I didn’t meet Chris until the day of the wedding but I could tell he was a man head over heels when he saw her walking down the isle. It was an honor to be there to document this day in their love story.  After a beautiful ceremony and fun filled reception. The newly married couple made a mad dash out under neon arch.

Most maternity sessions are at a beach or garden of some kind. But let face it, when you get far enough along, you don't want to be outside dealing with the elements. You want to Nest and just enjoy the days until the new little one arrives. You want hang out in the nursery imagining how it'll be once they are born, or in Bobbei's case spend some last one on one time with your first born. Well, you know that's just what we did. :) I am head over heels with Ben. He's going to be the best big brother to Katie. 

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is a perfect backdrop for a southern bridal session. Tall live oaks line the road and the porch of the Pro Shop looks just like a old plantation house. It's really all SWOON worthy.

When I met Ava and she said that her dress was pink, yes I said PINK. I knew that I just had to photograph her wedding. She is amazingly sweet and super fun. When we were planning her bridal session, she said that she wanted something fun. Vintage Chair, Balloons and her 2 year old daughter, is what we came up with. I am so excited to finally be able to share these.

This family is just the cutest!  Elliott and Haley moved to Myrtle about a year ago and needed some new family pictures to prove that beach life is the best life. lol They have two boy that are silly faces and wiggles. Jude and Liam are all boy but they let me get their good sides before darting off. We had a great time and I cant wait for next year.

These two are just fun to be around. Chris is a non stop goof with no "off" switch and Mallory loves to laugh. I guess that's what make them so good together. We just walked around the property and got all these giggles and cute kisses. Not going to lie, he did pinch her but a couple times, but can't show y'all those. LOL I am so happy for this couple and can't wait fr their November wedding in TN.

Michelle and I talked wedding plans over coffee and he sat there happily listening to her dreams for the day. She brings out the best in him in every way. Michelle has a quiet peace about her that draws you in and a laugh that is contagious.

We spent the days before to anti-rain dances. They worked!!!! The sun was out and warm for the big day. Sunnyside Plantation is perfect for that southern feel and the perfect backdrop for "I do" I spent the day listening to friends and family tell stories. The guys were hilarious and kept us on out toes all day.

They laughed and danced. They kissed and laughed. We watched and laughed. I think you are getting the picture. Jonathan and Michelle are the luckiest in love. 

I got the call about this Wednesday wedding on the Sunday before it happened... I knew right away that these were my kinda people. If you know me, then you know I'm a "on a whim" kinda girl. It was going to be a very small wedding with only his family and a couple friends on the beach. Emerald and I chatted about wedding things like old friends and it was set. I got to the beach house and all the guys were in the living room like nothing was going on. The girls had turned a room into a blizzard of dresses and makeup and shoes and everything else you need on you wedding day. But they were having fun, the love in the room between these friends set the tone for the rest of the day.

Austin and Emerald walked each other down the isle and exchanged vows they had written. Emerald vowed to love him forever and always eat crackers in bed, much to Austin's dismay. He swore to make her laugh everyday and give her the life she deserved. Everyone laughed and cried. They kissed and rice crispys were thrown. Yes!! RICE CRISPYS... LOL  Then came my favorite part. They let me play... Photographers don't often get clients that let them just play. So with the little light we had left I got wet and sandy with the newly weds. I hope that they had as much fun as I did. Wish them all the love and happy they can handle. <3
                                          

One of the hardest things as a photographer is waiting to show off  images that you love. Michelle is so laid back and beautiful. I have been chomping at the bit to get these out into the world. We had so much fun walking around downtown and talking wedding things.
